So I recently went to a nature center, and I caught some tadpoles, minnows, and frogs with my friends. We found 11 minnows, 5 tadpoles, and 2 beetles. The beetles started killing the fish, so we fed them to the turkeys. Anyway, here's the list:
1. Snakes
I got to touch a python and two gardener snakes, and they were so cute! One of the gardener snakes wrapped around my arm, and I was honestly terrified.
2. Tadpoles
So slimy, but so cute! The fourth one we caught was huge!It had a head the size of an acorn. The first one was killed by a beetle though.
3. Foxes
Cute- we still don't know what the fox says though. Anyway, never seen a living one of these, only a stuffed one. But if anyone knows what the fox says (I think it barks) tell me in the comments PLEASE. I'm curious.
4. Tardigrades
This thing, nicknamed "Water bear" is a god. It can survive nuclear radiation, years with food or water, being crushed, extremely high temperatures, extremely low temperatures, space, and can live longer than a koi fish. And the best part- it's maximum size is 1.5 mm. So... If you want a pet that will outlast YOU, get this (Don't actually, that seems boring). They eat plant cells, small invertebrates, and algae. They can be studied under a weak microscope, making them accessible to amateur scientists and students.
5. Wolf
Luckily, we did not see any of these. But I just imagine them as wild dogs, so I like them.
